Try the recommended level for a 1lb mix to a 1 egg mix first.
See what the end result is to you, and the fishes liking.
Take it from there, maybe add a little more, or less on the next batch.

Will very much depend on what flavour and where you buy it from. For instance the CC Moores flavours are weak as pi55. Probably best avoided. You could whack them in at very high levels, but if you tried that amount for John Bakers Crab you'd probably end up evacuating the street.
Bakers are probably 1.5ml
Catch it labs 3-4ml
Mainline 3-4ml
BAF 4ml
AA 3-4ml
Moores approx one gallon
But it's also going to depend on what else you put in them. For instance one of my baits only uses 2.5-3ml of plum, but that's because it has a powdered plum flavour and bergamot essential oil in it. So it doesn't need a ton of artificial flavour. But another one of mine uses 6ml as it contains a blend of three different pineapples at 2ml each.
You just need to experiment a bit I'm afraid.

What flavour is it?
They're all different and need to be used at different levels. Have caught on 20ml of s&o koi rearer to one egg before, yet some flavours you would never get a bite at that level.
Also unpopular opinion, but people talk about John Baker like he's some god... yes he's been around a very long time and has some decent products and talks a good one but is he really that good? What has he ever caught? Seems like a lot of the time on these forums people just repeat what they've read. I know people who use his plum successfully at a lot higher levels than he recommends.

Regardless of what he has personally caught or not caught. Having used lots of flavours from lots of sources on and off for over twenty years, my experience is that his flavours are very consistent and of a higher quality than a lot of others.
Having said that I don't use his flavours in my feed baits. Only hookbaits as they are obviously so much more expensive even using them at lower inclusion levels.
My take on it is that years ago he's probably used his flavours at much higher levels and found he caught just as much at lower levels so why have the extra expense.
