High for some time I've wanted a device to transfer all those last bits of fuel left in gas cannisters into one usable cannister.
I've just noticed on a fb advert advertising just the thing for £29.99 , it's called 'flip fuel' .
Just wondered if anyone had found something cheaper on e Bay which does the same thing ?

Search for ‘campingmoon gas canister refill adapter'
I've not got one but looked at it a while back. I'm assuming it's the same thing but it's cheaper.
Can't vouch for how good they are though.

Got one like that... pop the receiving canister in the freezer for 15mins and top up.... not always easy getting the last bits out of a canister, but you can but the long thin cans cheap sometimes and then fill the standard ones up... works fine

Confused how it works, surely the pressures in both tanks would level out with the gas in the fuller can flowing into the emptier can? But, the reviews are all in favour and no negativity that they don't work so they must be OK
When my cans are empty I tip them upside down after standing on them to press the sides in to pressurise them a bit and hold them in my hand to warm them up and a couple of minutes later the flame peters out but I only use the "220" size as it works out cheaper than the "450's".
Also sometimes I cut one open after discovering what was inside after wanting to know what makes the "220's" work when laid horizontal, I discovered they have some hard plastic tubing inside that I occasionally use for making rigs, I always find they are completely empty with only a slight smell of gas.

Buy a decent stove that can be liquid fed then just turn the can upside down till empy.
