Hope someone can help

I have had to buy a Fox Flatliner which is 215 long trouble is it will not fit in my Solar Compact Spider without it pushing the sides away quite badly...the bivvy states 250 wide but slopes back and is much tighter at the back

I like the look of the Ultralite but am not sure whether the bedchair will fit in it without pushing the sides...its supposed to be 245 but doesn't seem to have the sides sloping back as much

I've looked at the old threads but cannot find any mention of this bedchair being used in this bivvy

Longshot maybe but does anyone use this combo or know of anyone who does ?

Your help would be much appreciated before I blow a lot of money and find myself in exactly the same position as now

If it does fit then there will be a Solar Spider in the classifieds very soon

I am a die hard Ultralite user - had the original and replaced with the Aqua 100 Ultralite this season; great all round bivvy IMO

I was using a Wychwood Tactical X Standard which is actually quite a big bedchair - its 215cms long by 85cm wide and whilst it fits it can compromise the space at the front primarily having to angle the bedchair slightly (which I prefer anyway) - so on this basis your Flatliner will fit.

Now use a Solar CP Tech which is 205cms / 80cms and it gives a perfect balance of comfort / space / ability to have several buckets inside the bivvy at the front etc. . . however none of this is an issue if you negate the infill - its only relevant if you fish with the infill zipped in everytime
