So ive done away with my trakker oval, hated it possibly the worst bed ive ever had. So im now in two minds on what to get next
The solar c tech bed ticks all the boxes for me but the sleep system bag doesnt look that great . I was thinking of getting the c tech and then the gardner carp duvet but the one thing putting me off that is i used to hate the way bags move around on a bed compared to a proper sleep system. Does anyone find the gardner duvet better at staying put on the bed or do they still slip and slide around the bed ?
The alternative is the fox flatliner sleep system but the c tech not having a bungee style matress would be great for my back

The bag on the solar sleep system is decent. But it is too hot for me for the summer months.
Had a gardner carp duvet on it for a while but didnt find that to solve the problem i had. It was also pretty long so moved about a fair bit at the feet, and the retaining strap in the middle wasnt great.
Just got a wychwood tactical bag for £54 that is apprently a summer bag, so hopefully that will help with the heat

I rarely use a bag in the summer just a gardner or trakker bedchair cover as I get way too hot

I think it depends how much you move around in your sleep.
I use a Snugpak Techlite, and I move around a lot, and yes the bag moves a fair bit too. It's something I am used to, as it happens with every sleeping back I've ever had. They do have head and feet retainers on them but I can't seem to get mine to reach the full length of my bedchair so I only use the head one.
At the moment it is way too hot for a sleeping bag, IMO, so I too use a Gardner Bedchair Cover, though I was on the bank on Tuesday and I woke up 4 times absolutely sweating, so for this weekend I am stripping everything back and going to sleep outside the cover but fully clothed and without the SIM, as I believe this adds plenty of extra, unwanted warmth at this time of the year.
I'd rather wake up cold once in the night (I can get under the cover when this happens) than wake up sweating 3 or 4 times, that's for sure.
