Had to leave them to it. Definite spawning behaviour today. Racing through the reeds and chasing each other in the weedy bays. Unlikely strategy for fry survival but I suppose when you've got to go...

Very late , most lakes spawned May/June this year .

It's just the fish that didn't spawn earlier in the year contrary to some beliefs they don't spawn twice .

Females only have one session usually however males will keep chasing/pestering when ever the feeling needs.
