I'd like to start using a camera for my fishing pics but I literally have no idea about them. Can anyone recommend an idiot proof digital camera with a flip screen?
Nothing silly priced and happy to go second hand.

Depends on budget, some people £100 is chump change others it is a lot. I have a Nikon d5300 the 3200 (from memory) Is the same without WiFi (which imo is more a gimmick) that coupled with a 35 prime lense, around £100 (sh) intervelometer £15, tripod £25 and rhino copy £20 youl have a very good set up. Can pick that usually up for around the £350 mark less if it's the 3200

Sony a5000 I have, love it. Nice clear pics and prime lens available if you wanted.

as per Vinnies post really, a mid range nikon with their 35mm f1.8 is always a good combo.
totally depends on our budget but i'd say that area represents good VFM, places like CEX / London Camera Exchange often have second hand stock too. just look at over all condition and shutter count if possible and you should be laughing.

Ended getting a canon 700d second hand. Absolutely perfect for what I need and a intervalometer as well 👍. Thanks for all the recommendations.
