After some advise and recommendations on braid and braid diameter please for my new reel

I would like a braid that
1. Can cast 100yds with a standard spomb but without a shock leader
2. Does not require wetting after every cast.

Daiwa j braid - I use the .21 I think it is with a leader so go upto a .28 or close to that and you'll be fine

So 58lb Braid straight through with no leader will be fine?
