I'm looking at adding some security to my garage, there appears to be a lot for up and over garage doors but struggling to find anything for barn door garages. Any recommendations please?

I bricked mine up and had it rendered using only the side door, as mine was 1930s and the only car that would have fitted in there was a 1971 hillman imp after a side shunt!
If you don't need huge access I would brick up and get some second hand decent double doors... or just use one door and brick up the other - the trouble with barn doors is too much leverage with side hinges

When you say barn, Im guessing you mean side hung? Are they steel doors or wood?
You can get bars which go completely across the doors padlocked at each end. Which obviously slow people down and put off the average chancer.

Haha architects still make garages 7ft wide now....still count as parking spaces for new builds.

What about one of those drop in gate posts in front of it, the type farmers use to secure fields? drop it in, padlock it, door can't be opened ( the same type Jeremt Clarkson was being sued over because a woman trespassed onto his property and hurt her ankle on it)?
