I am pricing up some floor tiles and wanted to know the cost on average to lay per m2 so I don't get ripped off.
Cost includes everything except the price of the floor tile as I will be buying these myself.

This will depend on a few factors.
Does the concrete base need a self levelling screed before hand?
What type of tiles, if they are the rustic farm house type ones which are different thicknesses they these may be more expensive to install as they take a bit more messing about.
How big is the area? ( If its say 5m2 the fitter will still want a full days pay even though it may only take 5 hrs which will increase the m2 rate).
Is the room square with no circular or raking walls, again these will take longer to install and thus impact the m2 rate.
If you have a 100m2 square room the m2 rate will be a lot less that a 20m2 room with circular walls etc.

In London labour only 57 sq metre for cash including grout and adhesive on a prepared surface.
That's for 600x600 but for that you get a first class job.
That was for a small job of 20 sq metre.
I'd imagine for a bigger job those prices would come down .
People nowadays don't want to take up a trade, rather go to uni, do a silly degree and get in debt. Thats why those that take a trade command those type of prices.

To lay them I could recommend plenty of absolute t0553r5 mate.....

Not being a tiler It's so hard to say, i guess the rate drops for the more square meters you have and the complexity of the job, such as cutting around obstacles

I have been quoted various prices starting from £2500 right up to £6000 for 70m2
That includes everything except tiles.

There is certainly plenty of money to be made.
I can usually turn my hand to most things but tiling is definitely not for me.

Tbh I thought that too, but during the COVID lockdown thought Id give it a go and did a good job, since then I've done a few bits and got better and quicker each time. It's really not hard at all as long as you take your time and follow the old rule of measure twice cut once
