Any suggestions for lakes public or pay that are within 4 hours of Calais. Mrs wants to go on a road trip / camping trip so thought I'd go fishing whilst we're at it. Don't need monsters but needs to be pretty. Clear water. None of these mud ponds

Bounty lakes do long weekends, about four and half hours tho .

Go exploring! Plenty info on the internet people can't help
Them self by letting things slip location stock exc exc your be surprised how much people give away on YouTube exc without even realising it.

Maybe that's for later in life. I wish I had the excess time to go exploring French lakes.
