The new all singing all dancing Trakker bedchair,£549.99 and £599.99 for the wide version.These prices are getting ridiculous now,I guess if we keep paying it then these companies will keep on increasing the prices.When is it going to end

I can't post on here what I would really like to say. So I will just say the Funking world has gone completely Funking insane. Cost of living crisis? Clearly these are aimed at the 1% not affected by the same sh#t as the rest of us. What next, bivvies for billionaires. I give up.

The shop I use told the rep that,obviously they tried to justify it.I hope people stop paying it and these big companies stop taking the piss

Been banging on about this for years if people keep buying it will never stop don't buy then they will have to re think there pricing with a warehouse full of gear it's ridiculous asking these prices in the middle of this cost of living crisis

Considering not long ago warehouses were full of gear they couldn't sell you'd think they'd price items sensibly. Some of the stuff being priced and sold now is ridiculous. I've always thought trakker have been over priced, possibly because of the faces they sponsor so trying to catch the angler more than anything else. Or is that cynicism?

I just hope they don't sell many of these and have to reduce the price,it might make them realise people have had enough of being ripped off

You'd like to think that but today I walked into a well known tackle shop where I witnessed a guy just starting out at the counter with £1200 of kit rung up on the till and put it all on finance with the shop to be paid in installments over the next 12 months.
I've always been of the mind that if I can't afford it there and then I will save for it and would never even dream of financing fishing tackle. I genuinely couldn't believe what I was seeing and made me wonder how common this was in the angling world now?

I did see that in a tackle shop recently. The angler said that the inland revenue were going after his decorating business for unpaid tax and it would finish him. He was maxing out every line of credit he had before declaring bankruptcy. He was buying all kinds of high end stuff. I found it it quite upsetting and left as quickly as I could.
