Just bought some of these and I'm very impressed, the only thing that lets them down is the line clip - it's to flat imo a right faff to get line under it or is it just me ? Thinking of upgrading the clip.

I have several of these reels - the line clip is 'tight' so you just need to prise it open a little without breaking it obvs . . .you also need to use two hands - a thumb on the spool to keep the line taught whilst you push the line under the clip with your other thumb - nails can help in this instance . . .

As mentioned they're tight if your trying to get the line under the clip at the base of the spool
I find it easier with mine to come across the top of the line clip where it is machined wider on a splayed angle then pulling down the line comes under the line clip easier then pull it around anti clockwise around the clip.
