Just received some of these in the post. Are they supposed to be in 3 parts? How do they go together? I thought it would be something that comes whole that I can just stretch around the rod. Maybe I'm being thick....

Just out of interest
if you bought a set of these and fitted them to say a pod can you buy bases to put on sticks
or do you have to buy the complete thing again that seems a bit daft ?

Yeah, the magnetic bottom part screws into a busbar or bankstick. The part above it is also magnetic and connects to the bottom part. Then you loop the elastic around the rod butt and connect it under the ridges in the top piece.
