I have had my TXI-D's for about 2 years now. On the whole they have been ok. My issue at the moment though makes me not want to use them.

Last week my red alarm (i have red,white,blue) randomly just stopped working in dry conditions. I changed the batteries and messed with all the settings and got it so i was reasonably happy.

Now about 10 minutes ago it just woke me up with what i thought was a screaming run, only for me to stumble out the bivvy and strike into absolutley nothing. The alarm still indicating a roaring take!. Obviously there is an issue here and im aware i can send it back to delkim. Ive also got to mention the fact that all the dials on my alarms are very very stiff now.

Its abit dissappinting in a £500 det of alarms to be having these issues.

Has anybody had similar happen? Does this sound like water ingress?

I definitely regret getting rid of my TXI Plus' . 10 years and no issues with them.

Contact Delkim there after service is second to none.

If only everything was 100% reliable...

Did the bobbin register ?

As said Delkim provide fantastic after sales service.

As jason said nothing is 100% reliable. Ive had problems with every alarm ive ever owned other than the ace i3's i had but the lad who bought them from me has issues with them. At least you know delkim will sort it which is more than fox did as they didnt want to know when i had a problem and that is not a que to start another boring fox vs delkim debate.

Sorry its been a late reply, no mate bobbin didnt register. Think there gonna have to be sent back tbh
