I was wondering if anyone could help me

I'm looking for a lightweight bedchair but one that you can actually raise and use as a chair if need be like you used to be able to do. I know when you do this and fold the leg end back they aren't always that comfy but not overly bothered about that.

Most now seem to be fold flat only.

I've got a long walk on the river and trying to lighten the load as much as poss

Scour the second-hand market for a JRC X-lite bedchair. The older ones had the handwheels and weighed about 6.5kg. I often use mine for day sessions.
