How do you all store your dry particle keeping it away from rats/mice and the like.

I've recently had issues in the garage with rats chewing through plastic buckets to get at some of Tails Up's finest and about to order some bulk particle.

Was thinking metal dustbins but wondering if you guys can give me a better idea.

I have some pellet in my garden in a black plastic bin. Don't really have much trouble with Rats or Mice tbh but never had an issue.

If I had the space and wanted to keep dry particle I would probably go down this route.

They look quite good to be fair. Heavier duty than a standard bucket.

Maybe some extra traps too will do the trick

These drums are great. I have two and you can't store probably 30-40kg if not more in each.

You can normally find them very cheap or free on Facebook marketplace if you have a company local that uses them and wants rid.

I wouldn't trust them against the rats. If it were me I'd put the bags in a galvanised dust bin.

Indeed.

Use them to make feeders on my shoot and rats and squirrels will chew into them.

I've battled against mice and rats both at home and at the lake for years.
The only thing that has 100% stopped them getting to bait so far has been galvanized dustbins. I bought my last ones from Wilko.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll take a punt on the galvanised bins.
