Anyone use a deeper chirp + 2 mount on the microcat?
I see lots of mounts but don`t know which is best?

I have a technicat, what I found with the arms you can readily buy off eBay was they did not lead to the sonar sitting completely flat in the water and if you went too fast with the boat often it would loose signal as the waves created would go over the sonar.
I ended up buying the deeper range extender kit, the arm that come with it is much better it provides a cup for the deeper to sit in, it can also be extended (has a telescopic arm) so you can ensure it sits right and less risk of tangles also (I have mine off the back of the boat)
You can buy the arm separately, cost twice as much as what you can buy off eBay but as I found you get what you pay for.
