Has anyone on here got the XL? Looking at getting a Bushwacker but can't decide on the regular one or the XL. Is there any difference in the way it handles in the water compared to the original. I've never owned one, so hedging my bets on whether to just get the XL.

As I can see, pay load, xl holds more but with that it's adding more weight to the front end of the poles so in turn makes harder the steer. The poles will bend with the wind and the cup will move alot slower. In calm conditions it will not make much difference. Just takes a bit of practice to learn to steer the cup to the exact spot.
The xl, or is it the pro, not sure, but one has the area on the cup for add ons, like, deeper, leading ring. You can't use any of that on the standard cup.
Xl holds more payload but its like the baitboat, people tend to put more in, just cus they can. The std cup holds about 4 large spombs, a little less in wind or chop as waves fill cup and wash you out.
I was starting to think I should have bought the xl but now I'm use to the std size I'm glad I didn't buy the larger one. 50 meters is hard enough in wind to get within a foot of you chosen spot with the smaller cup.
Only thing missing is a little led light on top to show where you are at night. I don't want a big old touch strapped to it, just I tiny glow is more than enough for my needs

ive bought the standard pro model,as i dont want to drop a kilo of bait,plus ive bought so far 14 extra poles and im buying 10 more, not used it yet lol, but lads i speak to who have them ,rate them.

Any tips on the steering, great in calm weather
Ive got the standard Pro, XL seemed massive
Also nash do a light I've noticed for them after I could have done with one the other night ( 65 quid or something like that ) but can't be used with the deeper on

ΒΌ tip the cup to the way you want it to go. If you start getting a wind bow in the poles the tip cup opposite way on the ship out and it will pull straighter. In wind you have to allow for the wind and don't hang about shipping out. I normally clip the poles in 6s, (9mtrs) any more and I find I can't move quick enough to steer
