Hi, I've recently come back from a France trip and had a nightmare with my Citroen Berlingo loaded to the gunnels. Any advice on van hire for next year? Ive looked about a bit and found Enterprise van hire for £272 for 10 days, and an additional £300 to take it to France. Any advise lads?

We looked at enterprise and the only thing that put us off was the damage waver cost. Used a small local company and we pay £525 all in. That's 9 days with European cover and the damage waver cost.

You can buy damage waver insurance from a 3rd party. Works out significantly cheaper.
I hired a car recently and enterprise wanted £10 a day, 3rd party was £12 for a week.

Damage waiver is a must. Enterprise stung me after finding a piece of trim was missing in the recess between the wipers and the bonnet. Not a clue how it disappeared, but they sure made me ponder it once they dipped into my bank account.

Check your quote mate as £27 per day does not seem correct.
