As per title. Any online guides/advice for making one? Thinking cheapo bucket & clear acrylic sheet.

cut out the bottom of a bucket. Leave a little 1-2cm lip for the acrylic to butt against. Use gold label underwater sealant between the two to make it watertight. And drill some holes and use some nuts and bolts for extra strength for the water pressure.attached with rubber washers to keep it all watertight.

Fix the frame with the lens removed into the bucket lid.

I just cut a large hole in the bottom of a washing up bowl and glued in place a clear tile using bath sealant.
