recommedations please - preferably the single stick type. Century stealth one looks decent ?

Avoid the century. It's too narrow, which makes it unstable. And it's expensive. Can't go wrong with the Defiant black panther. Keith makes them to your spec and imo it's a much better option from the design aspect and value for money. The only downside is there will be a wait, but drop him a pm -defiant one- to clarify the waiting time.

What / where are you using the pod for? I've been through most designs from the single stick century to solar worldwide style and the reality is for most standard UK fishing the original Quattro (2x goal posts) style is the most stable / versatile / quickest to assemble. . . on this basis the Jag Super Compact Adjustable is my recommendation - the inners on the banksticks and main bar are carbon if that helps!
