Hi as per title. For occasional use so top end Scopes off limits! Ideally 2 piece 2.75-3lb test. Some user feedback on the following would be great
. Dwarf 6ft, Sonik Extractor , Wychwood MLT( have some 9ft MLT's and I'm quite impressed... however the 6ft could be pants?) Any others to look at?

I have a free sprit S 6ft tree rod. Brilliant rod think its just a top section with a butt on it. Not used it in years

Hmm. Sounds interesting... was aware of them but thought they were more expensive. What are they like in proper hit n hold situations?

After having a good look and think about rod choice, I think my original plan for a 6 or 7 ft model might be a bit restrictive! Now open to suggestions for models upto 9ft.
Choices include
ESP 8 or 9ft pref the 8ft 2.75
Greys Stalker 7ft OR GT2 2.5
Extricator 9ft 2. 75 as I said in the OP have 2 that I use as small water rods but not really beasted them so no idea how we'll they would cope.!

I have the ESP Stalkers in 8ft 2.75lb and they are a lovely little rod. I had the Sonik Extractors before and they were horrible in comparison
