Ive seen a few reviews but nothing really about the bigger test curve rods.
Has anyone got any of the 3/3.5 TC Darent Valley rods, im looking for something with a bit more poke than my current Mk1 ESP Hearns without breaking the bank.

I have a a DT spod,marker & device rod in a 10' version and have no problems with it it does what it needs to do when I need it,from what I've heard they are good rods.

I have a set of Darent valley 10ft 3lb test rods for my small water fishing. Lovely rods for the money nice action bit of poke when you need it. The only issue I have with these rods is a think the handles could be a bit longer. Not a problem when I'm fishing light leads which I normally always do. But upping the lead size to say 3oz for a bit more distance I felt they were a bit unbalanced. Not enough leverage in the handle to generate the power to get the distance if that makes sense. If your looking at the twelve ft models I thought that wouldn't be a problem.
