I am looking for a new bedchair and was wondering if there is one that stands out from the crowd? The Solar SP C tech seems to get the best reviews but it's 13.5kg without a bag! Ideally I am looking for a firm standard size bedchair, no sleep system, can close with a sleeping bag fitted, not too heavy and not going to fall to bits in a few months! I am not concerned on price. Does the ideal bedchair exist? Cheers.

The Solar SP C Tech imo is Bombproof and the quality is 2nd to none. I've got one in great condition,reluctantly F/S due to my back not agreeing with it.
Same as most things,its horses for courses, not one bedchair will suit everyone's style of sleeping position.

Solar Ch08 is also top quality build matrass for me was even better on the Ch08 vs the sp- tech

I have had loads
and my latest seems to be the best SOLAR CH08 !!!
you can find this particular model heavily discounted as most Solar products are these days
(I like a firm bed)

Bought a CH08 on recommendation on here and it's superb and not heavy at all , selling mine as I'm giving up night fishing .no good to op as no thumb and too far away anyway but highly recommend.
