Anyone bought a set of the kaizen rods yet??
Just interested in how they perform when used by us mere mortals!?

Exactly the same as they will when the korda mere mortals are using them. There probably decent rods but they look **** and look like they cost £50.

Had a play in my local tackle shop with these last weekend.
The manager there told me they use the exact same blanks as the Daiwa longbow.
I own a set of longbows and I have to say I believe him, they are remarkably similar.

Just because they look similar on the outside dosent mean they are the same blank. The outside of a blank is more of a cosmetic feature. They will defo be a different blank to the longbow. You gotta love a chinese whisper of the manager of your local tackle shop who wont have a clue where there made or what the blank is 😀

I genuinely would be interested to know the number of these they sell,I can't see them doing many at the price point they're at...however I think when they bring the cheaper version out I think they'll sell hundreds and hundreds of sets...the kids and younger anglers will be all ove them I would imagine....there's a a whole generation of korda kids now that have grown up following the brand since the day cast out a pukka goo' d up hook boat over a Bed of munga to catch scaley bangers...
I find it incredibly unlikely that it would the same blank as a longbow.

of course they do, I'm not knocking them for it...simply stating that if you're under 35 then there's a good chance they would have grown up knowing of nothing different than the korda.media machine
