The slack lines thread (40ft) got me thinking, is there anything on record for the deepest rod caught Carp in the UK?

The lake I fish, the deepest spot is 70ft. Carp are caught regularly in the summer and autumn months in the 30-40ft range. Deepest capture I've heard of was 52ft.

Lake in my town centre is upto 50' and we have another down road that's just as deep both have 2 littler lakes next to them which are suppose to be deep but you can't fish the smaller ones,also allegedly connected to each other via tunnels,carp get caught all the time in various depths and I hear it fished well in winter time and there's big tench in there too

I know its not UK
BUT in 2013 I fished the shallows around 66ft in Lake Bin el Ouidane MOROCCO at its deepest its 300ft deep
caught all my fish in around 60ft

38ft for me . The lake has an average death of about 30ft I would guess with deepest I have found being 72ft.
One year they loved to show there but I never caught in that death.
I no longer fish the lake but my next area if interest was about 45ft .
