Hi,

Im currently using DNA s7 shelf life. I use their Evo hookbaits but would like to use some straight out the bag as well but find them quite soft and would like them harder.
I'm not wanting rock hard pebbles but just a bit firmer.

What would you recommend. Any soaks/glug etc.. to add or just air dry ?

I've never deliberately air dried DNA shelf life, but they certainly do harden up if they're left exposed to air for a while.

Try putting some in a bag of pellets, they will draw the moisture out quite quickly.

Glug wise a salty hydroslate will make the hard but again will draw the moisture out or just leave them glugged and soaking permanent

Just put a few in an air dry bag for a day or two . Job done

Pellet trick works very well. Use small pellet and sieve back through a maggot type riddle or landing net if holes big enough for pellet to pass through.

Mesh them - tights... best of both worlds.

Question from me - not an answer!

Surely hardening baits by removing moisture does nothing when they are rehydrated and they will no longer be hard?

Are you sure?

This action cannot be undone.
