Looking around websites, the Nash bushwacker pole system looks good.
Anyone used the all things 3D baiting pole system?


Differences are 1.5m sections as opposed to all things 3D's 1m sections.
All things 3D system is a lot cheaper too.

I'd probably end up getting 30m worth of poles.

Nash are made of fibreglass allthings3d are made from plastic conduit. More susceptible to warp in the sun. ? I tried making one from the same stuff. I had the whole rack out on the floor , checking for the straight ones........ people walking past thought I was a div.. after time most have gained varying levels of warp..lol

My mate has a bushwhacker that has loads of sections and probably gets close to 50m with it! I found it terrible to use with it snaking all over the place. Obviously in experienced hands its better, but even then it is still way too flexible at anything over about 25m I'd say. I opted for the extension sections available from The Tacklebox instead and to me it is far superior to the bushwhacker. It is made from carbon, so its relatively light and much stiffer than the fibreglass bushwhacker. I originally bought a couple of the front extension kits to add to my original AI 12m pole. I then bought more of them and now rarely even use the AI one, I just use the TB sections. In total I think I've now got enough to reach about 40m. It still snakes a bit especially in a cross wind, but nothing like the bushwhacker does.
It's also an overfit joint system unlike the pin locating system on the bushwhacker, which means it doesn't start to fill with water! I have seen bushwhackers start to sink many times especially if trying to use at distance as they take on water pretty quickly. The one disadvantage with the overfit joint is that I tend to push them together too tight! I guess just being cautious they may come apart out in the lake! This can make them a bit difficult to get apart, but I added some short sections of rod handle shrink tube to each section to get better grip and problem solved.
Better to just buy the full extension kits than the single sections. They also come in a nice bag which takes many more sections. I think I probably fit around 10 sections in each bag. The kit is also a bit longer than TB state.

Think I'd look at using expanding foam into the sections, if the bushwacker sinks 😄

Never thought of doing that. I've got the TB 18 and 6m of extensions so that's a route I may go down now.
