Going to fish a lake that has banned leadcore / lead free and safe one type leaders. So was going to use a fluorocarbon leader instead. What fluro do you use for your leaders and what's the best know to attach it to the mainline albright knot?

My personal favourite is Dressen X in 0.60 mm. Mainly because I use it as a snag leader when fishing rivers. You may want to try 0.5mm? It is very abrasion resistant and sinks well. It is also very cheap at about 7 quid for 100 meters.
Whether with braid or mono mainline, yes - Albright knot.

Gardner Mirage 20lb is good. Nice and supple for a fluoro. I tie it to mono with a 3 turn blood on fluoro to 4 turn grinner on mono.
