Can any bait boat users in the forum, give their feedback? Various manufacturers such as Stealth Cam or FishEye. On reflection are they worth the money and would you buy again?

Really, it depends on why you want to buy it and what you expect it to do. I have the small Actor Bait Boat and mostly fish very busy and pressured waters so when Matt (Fish Eye) produced the winch cam I brought it so that I could see if (or rather how much) bait I was fishing on top of. It has worked a charm for that. Clarity is not always great because its dependent on how clear the water clarity is but its always clear enough to see what colour and how much bait I'm fishing over and of course I can see if my baits been mopped up.
Its a hassle carrying "yet more gear" so I dont always take it with me but if I do use it, it does what I want it to do. Cost and worth it? Only you can decide that really. I dont mind the cos because I love a gadget and I dont mind spending when I know that after I get bored and decide to sell, I will get pretty much most back of what I paid out for it.

I'm in the market for one in the near future for my SB3 after witnessing one in action on an RT4 last year. The clarity was amazing even in murky water once the LED's were activated on the camera. Bit of an outlay but looks a really handy tool to me if you physically want to see what you are fishing over.

Definately worth having if you can justify buying one.
I might get one for my SB3 this year as the one i currently have I built in to an anatec CAT many years ago.
Biggest problem is remembering which way for up and down on the winch LOL

I have the carplounge camera for my rt4 .I think it a game changer for me I never go anywhere with out it its amazing

I've got the stealth cam winch cam for my actor plus and it's a great bit of kit very happy with it . Great customer service from Steve the owner aswell highly recommend the stealth cam

I have the carplounge wynch camera and I am very impressed with what you are able to see when using it. Unfortunately the camera did have to go back after just a couple of months as it stopped wynching but it seems ok now. I use mine on a very weedy lake and it is amazing how you can find very small holes in the weed that you would never find with a marker rod. I also find it amazing how many times I see fish swimming under the camera - clearly not afraid of it. One thing to note is that they take some skill to use especially in windy conditions. You can very easily drift over a spot too quickly and have to do it all again. Likewise I've found dropping the rig when the camera is down can lead to your line wrapping round the camera. At the end of the day once you have mastered it it is a game changer!
Stealth cam seems to get the best reviews.
