Has anyone fished at makins fishery? Do you have any advice on how many wraps from the car park side of the lake?

Fished Makins last year, about Sept time. Was on lake two which is to the bottom and around lake one. We had 26 fish to 22lb in a day session. It was amazing ! We fished near the cabins in between the islands. Little and often.

I fished it for the first time ever the other week for a day sesh - fished the middle of the bank opposite the car park with small mesh bags - there's a small gravel seam / 'bar' at exactly 9.5-10 wraps that runs between the islands - had 6 fish in about 4hrs then went home!
