What do you find the best product for cleaning and re-waterproofing some nubuck goretex hiking boots, thanks?

Hi mate.
So the Goretex is inside and if not worn out is the waterproof barrier
There's nothing you can do for that. However, the outside of the boot can be treated
To repel water, which will aid in breathability and possibly waterproofness
If the Gore lining isn't 100%
As its Nubuck I imagine you will want to keep the look. So brush off dirt and mud
And spray with scotchgard or crepe protect style stuff. Grangers and timberland do their own. This will get the water beading off again. Personally I like grangers stuff.

Nothing really... It has been prooven now many times that goretex is not that great, especially dirt and small particles just kill the membrane... New trends now are to use light shoes that just dry super quick and dont absorb water... You can also go old ways and go with leather... Which again will be nightmare in boggs etc

I had some Meindl air revolution lites which were predominantly fabric, I used Fabsil gold, worked a treat but it will effect the breathability. If your wearing good socks though I found it did not matter, breathe up through these

I've got a pair of berghaus nubuck goretex boots, I used graingers on them, never affected the colour, everything still good.

Thanks for the advice . Just managed to get a bottle of Grangers boot repel and a bottle of cleaner for £4.99 for the two from A bargain I thought so I'll give this a go , thanks .
