Can anyone please confirm if infills from a v2 brolly fit the tempest 100 brolly ?

All the accessories fit mate. Same size etc, just slightly different material and added vents. The skull cap wrap, for whatever reason, doesnt have vents on though

to save me starting a new thread.... (hope you don't mind :-))
Was looking at this on Youtube, I liked it very much, but, in the comments some said it was not good as the elastic's were weak and the poles broke etc, it's a toss up between this and the Nash Hide brolly, I believe the Hide is a better fabric but I haven't seen any in the flesh to compare, so, any owners of either or both to guide me to the right decision, thanks.

I had the original tempest Brolly, the V2 and now have the 100T. Never had an elastic go or pole break and all have had year round use. I've always gone for nylon as prefer it to the heavy Aquatexx materials.

Thanks Dom, I would think the guy that had poles to break was heavy handed, I know you prefer nylon to Aquatex but have you compared the Hide before you bought the 100T, and, sorry to go on, are there any down sides that you know of with the 100T.

My mate had a hide and pole snapped when erecting it in a strong breeze. He has gone back to tempest. Pole elastics are easily replaced if they wear.

I've never had a proper look at a Hide to be honest, but you see a few about and not much negative on here so I guess they are ok too. Haven't had a Nash shelter since I had a leaky Viper about 20 years ago. I wouldn't still hold that against them!
For me the 100T is the perfect shelter. Easily big enough, goes up and down quick lightweight. I don't really use any of the accessories but everything you could need is available.

was....I bought a Nash daddy long legs chair, I was
only looking at the warmth and comfort didn't really
take into account its height, so now my head hits
the top of my Wychwood brolly if I move further
back, I think I'm going to see both at the same
time if possible then make a decision.

I've had a hide since they first come out an the elastics have been fine can't say the same about the titan pretty much fallen apart after having to send the first one back out of the box, that being said nash customer service was spot and replaced it again after 18 months of solid use (3,4 nights a week for 18 months)
I also have a tempest brolly had little use but seams to be fine. I don't know when nash started out sourcing there products abroad but like I said my hide been used and abused for years and is still good as gold yet titan is a load of w**k

What you need to bare in mind about anything written online, is that there are plenty of people with strong opinions on stuff they know nothing about, and plenty of people who are faultless when it comes to anything in life.
Ive had numerous tempests, and theyve all been decent. No issues. Accidents happen when erecting them. But its how people then portray said accident when telling others aboit it.
I know a few people with hides aswel, and theyve also had no issues.

I do agree Paul, some are heavy handed and some have to
blame anyone/anything else except them self, I try to be as
honest as I can about everything and apologise when I'm
wrong (nobody is perfect), "Never assume" is something
I use quite often, when it comes to buying time I will make
my choice as I feel at the time and not be influenced by a
salesman, thanks again for your realistic comments.
