I'm thinking about giving DNA Baits " the Bug " a try, as it seems to me that the insect proteins should be highly attractive to Carp.
It is available in shelf life form , here in the U.S., so I was wondering if anyone might have used it and have any comments or insights on it's effectiveness ?
I tend to fish mostly short day sessions here, with the occasional longer trip, so mainly wondering if it's effective from the off ?
I've had really good results this winter on Hinders Beta'nana shelf lifes, which proved immediately effective, but imunfortunately not available here, at the moment.
Hence, my need to change things up a bit.
Off for a 4 night session, on a 185,000 acre water next week, but usually go with a maize/ tigers approach on the bug waters.
Mainly looking to try the Bug on my short local sessions.

There's another thread running, though for what it's worth, The Bug is a great bait and I am sure the shelf life version will suit you fine.

I've got an order due and it's the bug I've ordered really impressed with it and you won't go wrong with that choice of bait
