Hi. As per title. Considering a ticket for Marsh /Lea/Boot and Railway. Any issues to bear in mind and is car parking secure? TIA

Typical Lea Valley levels of security / angling pressure. Lea Pit is fairly low stocked (or was when I fished it), gin clear and tricky. Railway was always a bit of a circus. Given the Turnford Consortium is part of the membership of numerous clubs and associations, your best bet would be to join one of the clubs which has other waters available too.

Watch your step for human turds, and no the car park is not secure, quite often issues down there i believe.

Been a couple of years since I was down there but I was advised not to leave anything unattended. I was also warned about leaving tackle in the car whilst doing a recce as apparently a few people had their cars or vans broken in to whilst walking around.
I didn't fish it enough to experience anything or make a fair judgement, it was enough to take the shine off it though. Might have been someone just trying to put me off fishing there.

Car parking at Slipe Lane is like the the rest of the waters in Lee Valley aslong as you don't leave vaulables on show on your car your be fine
I would definitely recommend joining one of the clubs who are part of the Turnford Consortium
Baitcraft angling society
Kings Arms & cheshunt angling society
These are just 2 of the clubs i know off but there are more clubs involved in the consortium some of the clubs are also part of the fishers green consortium so you also get to fish Langridge Lake at no extra cost
