Kind of lost the magic of the 1980/90's as I remember it.

I still remember catching Turbo 2hours after a Winter League match finished and the section where I fished was won with a tiny perch

The lakes have been massively revamped after the imports debacle, have a mate who is a member he says it's safe now, secure, good bunch of lads on there a bit steep at £750 per year I believe but there are some worldies in all of the carp lakes there

no mate not joined as yet all the lakes we used to fish have changed massively,most with a high level of investment,not all for the best though

thanks for that mate but wont be joining anywhere new this year,looks like a pit is to become a lake to hire for the week or weekend as per there facebook page

Find memories of b bit and the club managed lake ( looked a bit like a mini savay to me in places) way back in the 90's when I first started fishing for carp. I wouldn't mind a year or two in there now, looks like they have done a good - watch oli davies vid on you tube, he fished there for 24 hours
