Just bought a wave runner bait boat for when I'm on a lake I fish when weather goes cooler any advice on use or tips I should know,boats in mint condition and runs perfectly

Charge the batteries 🤣

All joking aside, genuinely charge the batteries and keep them in a towel or in the sleeping bag when not in use as cold weather can deplete some batteries.

Thanks mate it's a brand new battery so yeah it will be charged and kept out of cold as much as possible

I'm sure you will be fine with it. Definitely a good tool to have.

Although I've read a couple places about not using them if the boat is 5.8ghz as it apparently makes it cut out. I've had a similar issue with my upgraded boat so going to try it back on plastic.

Will move the brass props to the other boat (atom copy)

Agree you need to keep the batteries charged. I left mine untouched for a few months and knackered them so had to get a new set. There's a facebook group that's quite good for support. The only other problem I've had is a snapped aeriel which was surprisingly delicate.

Regarding lead acid gel batteries being left for a long time and knackering them, sulfation being the technical term
I know there are car battery chargers than can rejuvenate, is there something available that would do that for smaller batteries?

My Waverunner Sport sank.
