My mate put me on to the wanfare torch (carp spirit one without the carp tax) in red. It scares birds in sunny daylight really effectively. £15.99 on eBay.

Can anyone confirm if the single red torch in link in post 6 is zoomable please ? Description on ad says the 3 in 1 is but not clear for the single led.

I got one from amazon that was rated on here which was terrible. In the end I got the Carplife one and it works incredibly well with tuftys and ducks. Coots seem more bothered by a green light.

The ones linked to on eBay are exactly the same as the carp life one. I can only suggest that people bought a lower lumen version which is available hence not working very well.
Myself and about 6/7 others bought the one I linked to and every single one works really well, even on swans during low light.

I bought the one in the link but returned it and got a refund.
It worked on a pair of swans right in the margins but had literally no affect at all on anything else.
I'll just got back to sticking a spod of bait out when the birds are on me.

Which link. I noticed that the one I linked was 20000 lumens and the other was 10000 lumens. Only half the strength.
