Anyone used one of the below, would expect it to be good if used by the military, and any steer on Medium or large sizing equivalent?
BTW I am 6ft and 15st, medium build and usually go for a 42” chest.

I can't comment on the jacket but just for info it may be better not ordering from that website. Myself and one other on here recently had to get PayPal cases raised for refunds due to them not having stock of boots and being piss poor with communications.

I tend to buy a fair bit of my fishing clothes from Military 1st and never had an issue with service or quality.

Personally speaking, I would avoid that jacket, it is branded as medium which in military parlance means nothing for a lot of items where there is a big range to cover height and chest and could cover a few different sizes. A medium for this item though is labelled as a 170/90 (height/chest) so it would only fit someone 5'5" high with a chest of 35" and that is presuming they are advertising it as a medium correctly and not just guessing The size you would be looking for would be a 200/120 6' 5" high / 47" chest then that would allow clothes underneath. I have heard the sizing's for these jackets run small so buy slightly bigger.
I avoid any seller for army surplus who advertises in small, medium.........XX large etc instead of what is on the label. For instance, the German army parka, which I wear in the Winter months, there must be about 5 different chest sizes for each height size and about 20 to 30 different sizes, but lazy sellers will just label them up small.........to XXX large. so basically you could buy an XX large and find height wise it fits, but the chest size is about that of a budgie and vice versa.
I once bought some German moleskin shirts, the seller had them labelled up as 44" chest, when I received them, the chest was far to small and the sewn in label had them as 42" chest. When I confronted the seller, he tried telling me that a 42" chest in Germany is the same as an English 44" chest so he relabelled them for the UK market, needless to say I got my money back. An inch in Germany is the same as an inch in the UK but their is a lot of thick people about unfortunatly.
So always be careful buying army surplus, you need the correct sizing that is on the label.
Try looking on Ebay for "British Army Issue PCS Thermal Jacket Olive Green" which is the same one that "Britishmilitarysurplus" is selling and look at the sizes. They come in two variants, the old anorak style or the newer one with a zip up the front which is best as you can cool down by unzipping.
