Been thinking about targets for 2023 and I may go down the specimen fish route. I have a few waters in mind but would be open to suggestions for open access/ day ticket/ club lakes where the following targets would be a realistic possibility:
Tench - 9lb
Bream - 10lb
Roach - 3lb
Perch - 3lb
Barbel - 10lb
Chub - 6lb
Pike - 20lb
Be good to tick a few off and focus on different species in the different seasons

Do you really expect anyone to tell you where to catch a 3lb Roach. I will, the River Thames. Good luck.

Helpful. I already know at least three open access waters where 3lb roach can be caught FYI.

You could do worse than looking at some of the big reservoirs for those specimen perch and pike.
Or if you're brave, Lake Windermere...

I know Derby Railway A.C holds at least four of those targets in there still waters, possibly more as it has some of the Trent on its ticket too.

For your 3lb Perch and 20lb Pike there's ddaps Brooklands Lake
Ive had a 3lb 2oz Perch out of there and I know it does 20lb+ Pike regular during the winter

Barbel chub and Pike are all achievable on the river Wye from Breinton through to Eign.
Perch Roach Bream and tench would be a challenge Bream and Tench are few and far between in the Wye mate of mine had a 4lb Perch off the Ferry peg some years ago and a Bream to 9lb off the courts best tench I've witnessed is 6lb plenty of small Roach shoals 1lb to 2b but bigger ones are scarce.

Very few better than Dave and Woody on the Wye in my opinion, check out Dave's other multi species from local rivers plenty of viewing.

Don't know where your located but the perch and pike are known to come out of the canals around Manchester/nw area

My target fish this year are
1:30lb plus mirror already done a 32lb common from my local canal
2:7lb tench from my canal(already had a 6.14 from same canal but want to catch it on float gear with corn
3:3lb plus,eel again from my canal seen one dead there last year and it was around 36” long
I'd also like to catch the grass carp that allegedly in lake I fish from September onwards.
And also have a big fish from a lake in my town centre that's 50' deep but hard to catch from,actually maybe fishing there on Friday night till Saturday morning
