I've had a Titan T1 for many years but as I tend to do long session mostly now (5-6 nights) I'd like a bit more space. I'm loosing at the Tempest 150 and the current Titan T2. In terms of size the 150 seems a good fit, but it's significantly more expensive than the T2 right now. I'll be wanting the groundsheet & cap and overwrap options as I do fish through all the seasons.
Has anyone here got experience of both? I'd welcome any comments that you might have.

Pioneer 150 in classifieds with wrap, better than both in my opinion if you don't mind the weight.

I've recently changed from a T2 to Tempest 150,. The T2 was just that bit to big for me even on trips to France for a week. Had a week in France with the tempest and found it great, big enough for my wide boy begchair, tackle baga and a day chair.

No Pioneer 150 is both wider and deeper.

I have a T2 and currently in France with it, fantastic bivvy for sessions especially this time of year with inner casual and wrap.

Its a heavy old lump but certainly is comfortable and spacious, bigger than a 150.

On paper yes.....But sat in 1 it doesnt feel like that because of the old age design of the pio.....

I've had a tempest 150 for 2 years now and fish all year round. Its plenty big enough for all situations, I have treated myself to most of the additional extras and have to say the inner dome was fantastic when I used it in France at a rat riddled lake and the extension has been awesome during the hotter months providing some additional shelter on a lake that doesn't have much cover.

All in all, I would say the tempest is the best bivvy I've ever had!

I was looking at the exact same models a few months ago, ended up with the 150 and glad I did...I have a T1 which is great but the T2 was just too big, the 150 sits perfectly in the middle.
