I was wondering if anyone had fished it though. I know a few people that fish the blue and they never notice anyone fishing it. I'm always a bit dubious of what the owners write about fish stocks themselves if the water isn't fished much. I'm just after a nice lake to fish through winter that doesn't get mega busy and has some nice fish in it.👍🏻

I fished the blue once when I was about 19 lol
And I was the only one on it
The green seems a cheap enough ticket for a years fishing even to just find out
It does say that the biggest is only around 17lb in the green seems more like the stock lake for the blue

Nothing current I'm afraid. Going back almost 10 years there was loads of tench in there and probably about 20 carp up to 30lb ish.
Unfortunately sometime between then and now a lot of the fish either died or were bbq'd on the bank. I think the carp were getting on anyway and apparently didn't successfully breed.
No idea what's happened since it changed hands but was one of my favourite places to tench fish.
Took a look round not long after it changed hands and all the banks were getting landscaped, it looked like to make more room for bivvies. Might have greened over now but looked like the character of the place had been butchered.
It's also very deep and the lake took a bit of waking up in the spring. Unless something's changed I think you'd be better off somewhere else over winter.
Some of the originals were real characters and I bet the stockies will darken up beautifully with a bit of time.
