HI - got the greys Xlerate in a 3lb TC and really like them, assume they are quite similar to the aiicurve action wise etc. Looking for a bit more range say unto 140yrds and maybe a pva bag to the 80-100 mark. I can get the xlerates maybe 120yrds with a rig.

Would folks suggest the aiircurve in a 3.25 or 3.5TC. Worried the 3.25 will be too similar to my 3lb rods so not keen on having 2 sets of essentially the same rod.

also any thoughts on the Aiircurve 3.5lb Vs say a aviator plus or century C2 3.5lb. I know they are a lot more money which I don't mind spending but is there really a difference for the extra £600 or so???
