Anyone use these alarms and any reviews like the look of them and the functions they have

Hi there,
I've owned and used both the originals and later Bug eye version, loved them and honestly can't say I ever had any problems with them.
Lovely reliable alarms, some people complained of receiver distance on originals but I never wandered far enough away from my rods to experience issues, in the end I sold them as I wanted something smaller and returned to my trusted old ATT's 😂😂😂😂

Got to agree with everything Terry has said ,good solid alarns never had issues with mine.

My son has the original mk1 compacts ..loves them ,no problems with battery life or reciever distance issues..(he's out now using them)..

I'm happy with mine. I've been using a pair, with receiver, for nearly two years. I did drop them when connected to the stainless buzz bars and stick and cracked them both, but a quick phone call to ECU and I had them sent away and returned good as new for a fair price and quickly.

The volume, sound and sensitivity options are more than enough for me and when it comes to upgrading my 3 rod alarm setup, I'll get these.

Me and my old man both had them at different points and both of the receivers where terrible. It wouldn't register a bite in the next peg no more than 20 yards away. Alarms are great but receiver distance could be a deal breaker.

Such a shame for a well made alarm.

Why oh why use cheap FM when digital is the standard....

That's not something I've noticed as I don't wander that far very often, but definitely going to give it a test tomorrow when I'm out.
