Just getting my gear back together after selling it - again! (never again!!)
I know there are mixed reviews of the ESP Mat, I have the Drennen Compact Quickdraw for Barbel and am very pleased with it, however feel that anything over upper 20s would be pushing it a bit so am keen to get the larger ESP quickdraw mat - my only concern is will fit on my Drennen specialist rucksack or do I need to buy a new ESP rucksack too?!
(they look identical other than perhaps the buckle placement)

Hello bud,
It won't fit I'm afraid. I have the drennan bag and esp mat.
I managed to find some clips that fitted the mat on ebay, and attached them to the bag. Was abit of faff mind.

Go to your local Halfords and get some roc straps, use them a lot as they can be adapted to do all sorts either by shortening or joining together to make longer.

Use these sttrapss with the ruck sack to carry additional bit secured on the outside. The one pictured is to stop my sticks and bars coming out while moving around but I have another to attach my Matt if needs be.

I don't I'm afraid. It seems they've changed the listing as was April last year i purchased.
They were just black 20mm clips. I did have to cut the side gaps on the clips wider (i did say it was faff) to allow the clips on the mat to fit and click in place. Then i attached with webbing straps as to not cut the original clips off the bag.
Failing that, you can just cut the ones off the matt and/or bag, and reattach the new clips to each. I just didn't want to cutbthe originals off.
