Any feedback on these guys?Thinking of getting a set for xmas for the son in law whose just started out carping. The non folding ones are only 19.99 on Ebay. Are they cheap and nasty?

I have a set, and yes they are cheap and nasty. Think I paid £28 and feel I overpaid. Not overly accurate from my use, also not the most user friendly. Getting Fox ones for Xmas now instead as was a bad punt earlier this year

I only bought the Saber alarms as needed something that goes over 60lb for my trip to France this year as the lake does hold fish bigger than my Reuben dials go. I do like the ease of digital scales but didn't want to fork out the full whack for the Fox or Reuben digital for what may have been a one off as I love my dials and they cover everything I am going to catch in the UK. Sadly though it does feel like it was £28 wasted in the Savers rather than £60 saved though
