Just stumbled across these in my search for a new boat. Any owners out there with any feedback? Tge sonar built into the handset looks good. Still think i will go for the sb3 boat but just watched a video of lots of boats in a test on youtube which included the rt4 and anatec and the gowi came 1st but not sure who was doing the tests.

Get em for 600 on Alibabah, just a cheap Chinese boat, not always a bad thing tbf but if your willing to wait you can buy direct

Watched a video of a group test which included an rt4 and anatec and quite a few other boats and it came out top of all the boats in the test.

I see and hear a few people slagging them on the internet however, I watched a bloke in France use one for a week and it did everything my mates £5300 RT4 did.
The bloke owns Parkfield Angling on the Wirral and sells them too apparently.

I have a gowi, had it for two summers now. Comments I would make is that it is quite a big boat, probably just a bit bigger than a rt4. This makes it great for large windswept waters, which is what I bought it for.
Apart from not wanting to spend the money on a rt4 I also wanted the simplicity of operating off a single handset. Some of the spots I fish I have to wade to launch the boat but I can operate the handset in one hand and the rod in the other so its perfect... No faffing about with tripods and i pads.
The sonar you mention is probably the most basic feature on the gowi, nowhere near as sophisticated as on some boats but nevertheless it shows the bottom detail and any weed very well.
The GPS autopilot is ridiculously easy to set and use, the motorised hoppers are a nice touch, the hoppers themselves are also long enough to take any rig set straight, and the battery life is fantastic.
I think its a great boat, OK its not a fashionable brand but, as a friend described, its a Chinese boat assembled in China, rather than a collection of Chinese parts assembled in the UK or in Germany.
