Is it possible to soak mesh pellet bait balls with pva friendly syrup, then let dry and store, if it is, what's the best syrup and how long will they last?

Be careful I tried this quite a few year's ago now (can't remember what I used now more modern soaks/dips may well be different) and luckily I dropped one in the margin and it didn't dissolve several hrs later and it still hadn't, I haven't bothered since just put it on as I cast out now, if your going to go down this path just do one leave it a week or more then drop it in a bucket at home and see what it does

If the question being asked is the one you're answering (regards PVA) the you are spot on. I fished for three hours on both rods with bags of tigers that were tied up the week before! Never do that again even dry pellets will do it if left a well as the pva absorbs the oil
