Looking to move away from mono to fluoro for my main line. 2 that stick out are Fox Illusion or Gardner Mirage. Can anyone give me an honest opinion on both or recommend something similar?
Not too bothered about casting distance as i have a boat but looking for info on suppleness and longevity.

a halfway house maybe Rig Marole FLX line? Been using it for about 5yrs in early spring and autumn when the water clarity is clear. sinks well, casts well, decent abrasion resistance?

I've used fox illusion more recently and tiger line for many years. My preference is for the Fox illusion. I think its harder to see in the water and a little better behaved. Both good though.

I've used the FLX and really rate it - I used it in 20lb (think it was 0.40).
