I'm going to Seattle next year and driving up into Canada 🍁 for a road trip (4 weeks ish)

I'm on 3 mobile and they'll charge me £5 a day roaming.

I've got a duel sim phone.
Any suggestions on what SIM only I can buy in the USA 🇺🇸. I need my phone for Data on the sat nav.

How easy is it to buy a sim only and any ideas on the price.

Im going to New York in early next year and from the research i have done you can buy pay as you go sims from vending machines in most airports

If you would rather prep in front you can also get them in the UK beforehand from Amazon.

What i do not know is if you need a separate one for the Canada.

Tripadvisor forums are pretty good for info like this.

Went to USA in July to meet brother in law etc.
Like you , Vodafone UK wanted stupid amount of money for 3 users for 2 weeks...around £250.
I went into a T-Mobile or Verizon store (Think Verizon) in Minneapolis and bought 3 PAYG sims. Had a quick look online but it seems to only cater for monthly deals. Anyhow, think i paid around £45 or £50 (need to add tax to cost) each for i think 10gb each. Personally i like to go in there and find out what im getting and make sure it works whilst in there, than buying from Walmart etc.

I had no problem with it and visited Minneapolis / Wisconsin and New York.
